  GREEN SCHOLARSHIP

Our Green Scholarship

The demand for sustainability professionals is growing and we recognize the barriers recent graduates face affording post-secondary education. In order to prepare our future workforce with quality education, Keep Rutherford County Beautiful (KRCB) awarded a $1,200 Green Scholarship and a $500 scholarship for the 2022 year! The scholarship award may be granted to any Rutherford County High School graduate that is planning to pursue a ‘green’ or eco-oriented undergraduate degree. This is for both 2- and 4-year programs.

Congratulations to our 2022 recipients Kevin Tang from East Rutherford High School and Stephen Scala from RS Central High School. They received $1,700 in scholarship funds to foster their college education! Read the full press release here.
